Sparking a Sense of Hope & Agency

Sep 19, 2022

WEARABLES+TECH — November 19, 2013

Humans are extending their capabilities and awareness by wearing, embedding, and making devices that monitor and make sense of life's signals. Wearables are the most visible aspect of this new, extended self. Embracing this technological shift, +Tech will host a night of Wearables+Tech, featuring the users and creators of wearable technology.

WEARABLES+TECH is co-hosted by the Institute for the Future and One Medical—every attendee will receive a free annual membership to One Medical (value = $149).

Everyone is welcome but space is limited—RSVP now to reserve your seat!

The Domain Hotel in Sunnyvale

Format

+TECH is like a meeting of the minds meets happy hour, reminiscent of the scientific salons of bygone days. In a fun and casual atmosphere, 5 experts give Ignite talks: 5 minutes, 20 slides, 15 seconds per slide. At Health+Tech, the talks focused on one or a type of technology that will change the landscape of health and wellness in the next decade.
