REALITY+TECH—September 17, 2014
Virtual and augmented reality aren't just platforms for nifty new games and apps; they enable new ways to engage with the world, experiences that are impossible to describe without trying them yourself.
Join us for an evening of demos and discussions. During the evening you'll have the opportunity to try some of the most cutting-edge and creative uses for VR and AR, from futuristic interfaces to 3D-scanned places, tomorrow's entertainment devices to the bleeding edge of art.
REALITY+TECH—free and open to the public with RSVP—will take place on September 17, 7:30-9pm at Plethora, 701 Cesar Chavez Street, San Francisco).
+Tech is like a meeting of the minds meets happy hour, reminiscent of the scientific salons of bygone days. In a fun and casual atmosphere, experts give Ignite talks )5 minutes, 20 slides, 15 seconds per slide) then discuss.
