Perhaps not the most health-related story, but a really cool picture
Although I am interested in new developments in prosthetics technology, this is not exactly what I had in mind. But the picture and its accompanying story made me laugh, so I thought I would start off the week by sharing it.
A Finnish computer programmer had to have half of his finger amputated after a motorcycle accident. He decided to make the most of a bad situation and replaced the finger with a…USB Drive! Peel back the top of the prosthetic finger, which looks and feels real, and there it is, 2 gigabytes of portable storage. (My IT guy was disappointed that it didn't have more capacity.)
If you had to have a prosthetic, what would you build into it?
