New AHRQ report on benefits, challenges of telehealth

A brief report from the Agency for Health Research & Quality (AHRQ) summarizes the results of a study of telehealth projects in rural areas.  The study finds improvements in health outcomes, but also identifes problems including equipment failures, the need for more technical support for end users, and clearer guidelines for reimbursement.  One benefit of telehealth highlighted by the report is the ability to provide enhanced supports to healthcare teams.
