LastGraph: Beautiful Timelines of Last.fm Data
I use Last.fm to track everything I listen to on my computer(s). I don't use it so much for the social features as I do for the raw data tracking. My music collection is so schizophrenic that it's hard to remember what I was obsessed with even 2 months ago. Last.fm collects my data and allows me to view a variety of charts and graphs showing my music trails.
While Last.fm's charts are great, Andrew Godwin has created LastGraph, a very cool looking visualization of Last.fm artist history. Just go the site, enter a user name, and wait while it renders your poster. My data can be viewed here, and I've saved a large version of my graph here (it's huge, if I posted it I'd break the website).
