Mission Statement

Come shape the future with us!

Our mission is to establish a vibrant youth network of intrinsically motivated doers and learners who, unsatisfied with the status quo, want to create a better future. As youth in today's society, we consider it our duty to realize our potential, and take action toward creating the world we want to see. If we don't, who will?

Objective

We strive to create a place where young adults can learn the skills of futures thinking to make better decisions today. Rather than being passive bystanders watching the future unfold, we want to be actively involved in shaping our future. We will apply our foresight skills to pursue high-impact projects we are passionate about, ranging from reinventing the United States school system to mitigating the impact of global climate crisis. Using the resources and broad network of The Institute for the Future, we will provide opportunities for students to engage and collaborate with experts, organizations, and like-minded peers. Ultimately, we envision a cutting edge collaborative network: a place where ideas can be heard and respected and where creativity and free thought flourish.
