Some of our thoughts/goals from AHA perspective:
Great possibilities to integrate social media into our existing campaigns. Add to existing YouTube applications to build a community. Leverage existing communities expecially around pediatrics/parenting for pediatric CPR. Use some mashups to attract people into the sites.
How can social media and mobile creates a community and support system and how to track helath impact?and
Improve comfort level internally for using external social media, how can guidelines evolve to build confidence.
Identify ways we can leverage the technology with youth audiences and general donor cultivation.
Build an employee social network; build engagement.
Where will this take us in the future; what if we don't go there?
Integrate into our web properties. Improve collaboration, accelerate knowledge sharing, a strategy that is right for the user; how do we encourage and manage participation; access/security, compliance and audit......
How can we use social networking to observe the cultures around our offerings, how is our message being received, is anything changing.
What is our framework, risks, guidelines, create an environment that encourages uses of social media, mitigate risk/manage our initiatives. Monitoring, moderating, best way to get legal advice, how do we provide guidance as to which tools to use where......
"Great next step" to build passion around legislative issues.
Better understanding of space, so we can identify opportunities to piggy back opportunities.
