Hacking religion is what happens when DIY culture and the Maker Movement meet religion.
On the one hand, this is nothing new, just think of the history of the Pantheon and the layers of religious traditions represented there. Humans have been creating religious mashups for a long time.
One the other hand, there are some interesting new things happening at the nexus of gaming & religion.
Jason Anthony, religion journalist and game designer (of Shabbatput and The Ten Year Game) visited IFTF recently and we got a glimpse into how he is thinking about hacking religion.
