2008 Health Horizons Fall Conference: Mobile Health
The Health Horizons Fall Conference will focus on the topic of Mobile Health in a World of Open Connectivity. The conference will be held October 14-15, 2008, in San Francisco at the Fairmont Hotel Atop Nob Hill.
Over the next ten years, the proliferation of mobile technology will accelerate the trend towards “anytime, anyplace” health, shifting health management out of clinical settings and into new contexts (including the workplace, the home, and while on the go). In more resource-constrained markets, we may see innovative usage practices that will shape future mobile health applications and experiences for the rest of the world. Already, new user models—like peer-to-peer disease management, risk mapping, and citizen public health—are emerging. Health Horizons will explore the frontiers of mobile health and build scenarios of health in a world of open connectivity to explore future possibilities.
Registration information will be available in late-summer.
