When spam levels make up over 70% of internet traffic, and our average focused attention span rests around 8 seconds, it is no surprise that reaping the benefits of social media outlets can be challenging.

Recently, Fast Company released a list of 25 of the Smartest Women on Twitter to highlight new and influential voices amidst the already-known or over-emphasized contributors on Twitter.
