Real Future Fair brings you stories about the people and technology that are shaping our future. Join us for a day of performances, audience experimentation, live journalism and thought-provoking dialogue to experience and see technology unlike ever before. Fusion Editor in Chief Alexis Madrigal brings his acclaimed newsletter to life with in depth interviews, culminating in a cocktail party where robots mix all the drinks. FUTURE FORUM: FRIDAY, NOV 6, 9 AM-5:30 PM
Join us for a day filled with creative conversations about how technology is changing our world. We'll explore what's next for everything from money to storytelling and want you to join the dialog. Come meet the people shaping our future.
A light breakfast, lunch, snacks and coffee (all day!), and end-of-day wine reception included.
ROBOT COCKTAIL PARTY: FRIDAY, NOV 6, 6 PM-9 PM
Visit the future where robots serve all the drinks, and each conversation is more interesting than the last. Featuring signature cocktails by R2Drink2, Shake Manhattan Bot,Cosmobot and other mechanical marvels. Kick off your weekend with a machine mixologist, dance to space cumbia from Camilo y los Robot Ninjas, and meet the entire Real Future team.
FUTURE FAIR: SATURDAY, NOV 7, 11 AM-5 PM
A day long civic event, featuring drone demonstrations by the Aerial Sports League, a robot petting zoo, the Oddball Failed Futures Film Festival, and presentations by Code for America and The Long Now.
Free and open to the public. Families welcome and encouraged.
REAL FUTURE OF SOUND: SATURDAY, NOV 7, 7:30-11 PM
An evening of live journalism and musical performances exploring technology and its impact on sound. Join us for original reporting, local Bay Area musicians pushing the boundaries of audible art, and a closing dance party with a musical headliner that you don't want to miss.
