Collaborative mapping revisited
Gliffy is an online collaborative mapping tool that beats CMap, which I posted here a few weeks ago.
They have basic shapes and a simple drawing interface very similar to what you could do in Word. You can set up multiple projects, invite others to collaborate on a project by entering their emails, publish images online, and export the maps as jpgs or scalable vector graphics. What would make this so much cooler: allowing for hyperlinks (which they say they are working on) and even cooler, a layout algorithm to redraw maps, optimizing distances between nodes like AuthorMap or Graphviz.
You can also make floorplans and network maps. Here's an example floorplan of the office. Anyone want to add?
