Crofton Black
Research Fellow
Crofton Black is a writer and research consultant specialising in open source datamining and complex international investigations. His recent publications cover topics such as military contracting, social media automation, PR and lobbying. He is author, with photographer Edmund Clark, of the award-winning Negative Publicity: Artefacts of Extraordinary Rendition (Aperture 2016). He works as a reporter at The Bureau of Investigative Journalism and as a consultant to legal teams worldwide. He has a doctorate in medieval philosophy from the Warburg Institute, London.
